NY not DC.
I'm not sure what is it with Singaporeans and American stuff. Nothing really against them. I had dinner tonight at New York New York in Citylink with Ad and Marky! I haven't caught up with these two nonsensical boys in ages. The ambience was very cosy and nice, with popart plastered on the walls. Service was okay. Servings were ok. But a bit on the ex side. Nonetheless, you can't pay for the best company hey? We had a couple of FAILED attempts to surprise Mark for two years worth of birthdays, but we didn't have the best of plans, but I'm sure he appreciated it much! Then we did prom shopping! Not much time tho. But it was fun to dress the boys up(:
Thankyou two for the wonderful night. I'm not going to see you much once you enter army, so we better take more pictures before your heads get shaved!
I'm seriously disappointed to find the lack of courtesy in our society here really. Four times in two days is too much to handle. Yesterday in the bus on the way to town with the cousin, someone sitting behind us was using their handphone speakers to listen to music. Blasting it mind you. So we had to endure a whole 45mins of RnB, distorted music at the back of us. I mean, hello. The bus is a public area. Use your headphones! Other people are using the space as well! And today, two students sitting RIGHT IN FRONT of a pregnant lady didn't give up their seats. It took a middle aged woman to give up her seat so that this pregnant lady and her little boy could have a sitdown. Talk about ungentlemanly. There are signs reminding people to give up their seats for elderly and pregnant women or with kids.
Ooo boy, I am so disappointed. I wonder if anyone will prove me wrong tmw.
